GoGIN strengthens its YARIS team

In the context of YARIS’s increasing power, and its progressive introduction in maritime centres in coastal countries across West and Central Africa, the project decided to strengthen its team. This initiative was taken under the leadership of Jean-Philippe Picquart. The GoGIN team is now made up of 20 experts.
The new team met in Brest on 23 and 24 August to welcome the new arrivals. From 25 August to 1 September, Christophe Deldique and 5 experienced instructors from YA centres facilitated a training session for new YARIS instructors. Over the course of 5 days, 15 future instructors learned to operate the YARIS suite. They also explored how to best use the platform within the operational contexts of their respective maritime centres.

Those who worked with him will not forget his good humour, the kindness he showed to all those around him, his selflessness, and his profound commitment to his work.
