CRIMARIO II on its way!

The second phase of the CRIMARIO is on its way! The contract is now being signed by the European Commission to guarantee the full operability and continuity of IORIS among our partners in the Western Indian Ocean. As announced during the closing event of CRIMARIO I in Mombasa in December 2019 , CRIMARIO II will offer partner countries a way to strengthen cooperation on maritime domain awareness and among law enforcement agencies in the Indian Ocean rim and further east to Southeast Asian countries. Scoping missions for the second phase of the project are planned to start as soon as the COVID-19 travel bans are lifted and the health conditions return back to normal. In the meantime, the CRIMARIO II team will start elaborating the strategy and drafting the work plan for the inception phase, working on strategic context analysis and getting in touch with partners through videoconferences and phone calls.
