From 30 November to 1 December, 30 representatives of Comoros bodies involved in matters of maritime security (ANAM, Coast Guards, Civil Security, Port Authorities, Fishery and Police) participated to a CRIMARIO workshop on the cooperation and coordination among different agencies.
The participants took advantage of previous experiences of neighbouring countries as Seychelles and Madagascar, which have already established coordination centres for crisis management and data sharing and analysis. European models (as the information sharing platform established by MSCHOA/EUNAVFOR) were also analysed and studied.
Mr Wahadi Madi, Comoros’ State Secretary for Transport, participated in the closing ceremony of the workshop.
